Welcome to the Project.

The WHO I AM Project is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding ways to help people struggling with self-esteem, addiction, depression, self-injury and suicide. Who I Am Project is for encouragement, support, to inform, inspire and to help seek treatment and recovery. -You're Not Alone

The Who I Am Project began in Union, NJ in October 2010 based on a story of young adult and teen who both dealt with self-esteem issues and depression. The female teen told us she would spend days in the dark wondering if her life was worth living. Hurting her self because she believed she was too fat, too short or just good enough. At the age of 14 the young adult male lost the most important person to him (his mom.) He told us that depression took over his body, and no longer wanted to live after losing his close friends and family members right after one another. Days of tears, depression, self injuries and week long migraines. Finally with time and inspirations, years later at the age of 21 he's able to help others and let them know they're not alone..
